Design-Driven Living on the Outer Banks
Our Story
The Cedar house collective
Hi, I'm Nicki! So happy you're here. 🖤
The Cedar House Collective was born from a deep belief that every woman deserves to have something of her own—something built from the ground up, rooted in passion, and filled with purpose.
For me, that meant leaning into design, dreaming up inspired spaces, and chasing the kind of independence that brings both confidence and creativity to life. Not because we have to do it all—but because it’s powerful to have something that’s just ours.
From raising a family to building a home from an empty lot here on the Outer Banks, I’ve poured my heart into every detail of what’s now become my newest beach rental property. The Cedar House is more than a destination—it’s a reflection of what happens when you follow the nudge on your heart and go for it, no permission needed.
Whether you’re here to stay awhile, get inspired, or start dreaming up your own “thing,” I’m so glad you’re here.
